Over the last twenty years, Joe Gatewood has been recognized as an entrepreneurial leader in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area. Since completing his education at Georgetown University, Joe has owned and operated local businesses and brings a wealth of knowledge to First Heritage specifically in sales and marketing. Joe spends a great deal of time educating his clientele through public speaking events and private consultations on debt management, credit analysis and repair, investment options and other mortgage specific needs. Joe’s wife, Troyce, has been a real estate professional throughout her career. As such, Joe realizes the importance of understanding market trends, the necessity for efficiency and flexibility when providing purchase funding, tax benefits and other real estate specific needs.

Additionally, Joe has been dedicated to philanthropic activities throughout his career. He is the founder and chairman of a local foundation that has provided athletic scholarship programs to hundreds of financially disadvantaged youths.

As a native Washingtonian and father of three children, Joe has established many relationships throughout the area. He believes that developing strong relationships with clients is critical to providing the quality of service that is necessary to stand out in our industry. In addition, through his network of strategic partners, Joe brings a wealth of resources to his clientele including financial advisors, accountants, realtors and home contractors.
